This code
has been prepared by representatives of the crane and inspection
industries and the Department of Labour. The purpose of the code is
to support the requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment
(Pressure Equipment, Cranes, and Passenger Ropeways)
Regulations
1999 and the Health and Safety in Employment Regulations 1995.
References in this code to “regulations” mean the Health and Safety
in Employment (Pressure Equipment, Cranes, and Passenger Ropeways)
Regulations 1999.
